We’re excited to share that a new video slideshow is now live in the vestibule at Killiney Beach Hall, celebrating the rich history of the North Westside. Featuring photos dating from 1901 to today, the nonstop slideshow honors the Killiney Beach Senior Group and the many community members who helped build the amenities we enjoy today. Be sure to stop, watch, and take in the details that make the North Westside such a special place to call home. Heartfelt thanks to Scott Graham, Leah and Will May, Brandy Alexander, and Clayton Kam for this fantastic team effort.
Building on this positive momentum we’re excited to announce the launch of a community history program, building on the success of the new slideshow now playing at Killiney Beach Hall. This next phase is all about growing our shared story—and we need your help.
We invite community members to share their historical photos, documents, and personal stories that capture life on the North Westside, past and present. From family snapshots and handwritten records to memories of local events and everyday life, every contribution helps paint a fuller picture of who we are and where we come from.
As spring unfolds, we’ll be digitizing these materials to preserve them and make our history accessible for future generations. Whether you lend items, share stories, or help spread the word, your participation will help ensure our community’s legacy continues to grow and be celebrated.
