Are you interested in investing your time, skills and passions into building a stronger and more connected North Westside? Here are some opportunities that might interest you in making a personal contribution in items that will enhance the lifestyle of fellow residents and families.

The NWCA is looking for volunteers for the following committee works.

SPORTS Committee

Meetings will be held once a month with full agenda of topics for each meeting as necessary.

Members will define the dates for each session both spring and fall.

Members will also provide insight into equipment needs and fundraising/sponsorship opportunities.

EVENTS Committee

Meetings will be held once a month with full agenda of topics for each meeting as necessary.

Members who have an interest in decorating, baking, BBQing, organizing Park Permits, Liability insurance and Financial Reports, and selling raffle tickets and signing up new NWCA members will enjoy this teamwork atmosphere.

PARKS Committee

Meetings will be held once a month with full agenda of topics for each meeting as necessary.

Members will be participants who have a fondness for outdoor trail activities, park activities like a new Dog Park at Killiney Beach and possibly a bike park/pickleball at Westshore Community Park. Additionally helping to engineer a path with steps for easier access to Killiney Beach from Upper Killiney.

FIRESMART Committee

Meetings will be held once a month with full agenda for each topic as necessary.

Members will be appointed to various communities to ensure all FireSmart activities offered expand to all our North Westside Communities from La Casa through to Westshore Estates.

Members will liaison with Wayne Carson, Director West at RDCO, Adam Skrinnikoff at RDCO FireSmart and NWFR as necessary.
