ABOUT THE EVENT
With our engaging, progressive and holistic early childhood education philosophy, we understand that each child has unique needs and interests.
We also believe in a model of education that sees the strengths and weaknesses of each child as unique characteristics that builds the fabric of a community. Our desire is to be respecting family values and incorporate parents as role models, volunteers and planners for our childrens' programs.
When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them.

As they come to Fun in the Sun children's programs, they will be more prepared for the next stage of their young lives.

Programs are open to children from ages 3-12. Each class will have an appropriate ratio of adults to children that will allow separate learning pods divided by age. 3-5 year olds will engage in developmentally sound activities, while 6-12 year olds will be in another group tailored to the ages of children registered that class.

Each month will have a theme and each week we will focus on a letter of the alphabet. Make sure to follow us on Facebook to stay up to date with our themes and activities!

Future Programs
As our programs gain traction, there are many more learning opportunities we would like to provide for the children in our communities. These include rich learning experiences like farm visits, permaculture skills such as gardening, sewing and woodworking, and outdoor summer camp adventures.

Our goal is to also be able to provide reliable, consistent afterschool programs to our communities. This is dependant on finding a location that meets the needs of such a program.
